i port fowarded my server but everytime i try to go on mine it says steam validation rejected

no way.. its not a website… its your router.. your router host a read-only webserver.. click on start menu> click run.. now enter cmd.. type “CMD” w/o quotes. later type “ipconfig /all” in the terminal that appears.. now scroll down and note the GATEWAY.. it is something like 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1.. anything like that… then enter it in the browser

your cs version IS outdated or is only a client version.. update to version 21 (minimum required to host) link needed?

just a little tip: when u use patch v35-36 too which is more up to data than patch v23 it gives steam validation rejected error.

well it depends if everyone uses the same patch.. else conflicts occurs.. i think we should move to patch 46 by digitalzone
