   Google Analytics recommends pasting the tracking code directly into the template HTML but that doesn’t work for me.

   I tried your method of adding the tracking code as a page element (and I did add it to the bottom box rather than the side boxes) but that still shows no tracking code detected on Google Analytics.

   Sometimes it takes up to 24 hours for the tracking to begin. If you still have trouble, contact me thru my website and I’ll see if I can help.

   There are 2 codes on Google Analytics.
   Ne tracking code and Legacy code.
   Which one is the right one for Blogger?

   And what is the difference between them?

   I usually use the legacy code, but I think either one will work equally well.

    Thank you. This is the best and easiest way to do it. Don’t do it through your edit HTML section. It will give you an error…Peace.
